Architecture should be shaped with the people building it.
I’m a Melbourne-based architect with more than a decade in digital
engineering. I work across enterprise platforms, cloud, integrations
and applied AI, staying close to the code when that is the quickest way
to settle a decision.

Selected work
Projects across engineering and architecture.
They cover desktop AI, a customer data platform, a public website
and cloud infrastructure.
01Individual contributor
AI Meeting Coacher
I joined the AI Capabilities team as an individual contributor,
working on a desktop app that provides meeting assistance and
feedback.
Contribution
Desktop app engineering and AI workflow prototyping
Built with
Rust, Tauri, AWS Bedrock
02Solution Architect & Tech Lead
Custom customer data platform orchestration
Designed the orchestration architecture for a custom customer data
platform and led the technical work. Python workflows ran through
Apache Airflow on GCP Cloud Composer.
Contribution
Orchestration and integration architecture
Built with
Python, Apache Airflow, GCP Cloud Composer
03Tech Lead
Sydney Airport public website
Led technical delivery across the front end, Java back end and
containerised development workflow for Sydney Airport’s public
website.
Contribution
Full-stack technical delivery
Built with
HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Java, Docker
04Solutions Architect
myRACP portal Azure infrastructure
Designed and implemented repeatable Azure infrastructure in
Terraform. My own agent-assisted workflow reduced the design and
setup work to about 25% of the original estimate.
Contribution
Azure design and infrastructure-as-code setup
Built with
Terraform, Azure
How I work
Good architecture should survive contact with the work.
01
Find the hard parts early
Before a team commits, I get the requirements, assumptions and
awkward trade-offs into the open. That gives the estimate and
design a firmer footing.
02
Make decisions usable
I explain why a choice was made and record the parts that matter.
I stay available while the team puts it into practice.
03
Keep risk visible
I raise security, integration and operational concerns while there
is still time to do something sensible about them. The next step
and its owner should be clear.
Career
More than a decade, from web design and development to architecture.
Feb 2026 – Present
Architect
Credera, Omnicom
Lead solution design for enterprise digital, cloud, integration
and AI work, from discovery and estimates through implementation
planning.
Mar 2025 – Feb 2026
Associate Technical Director / Solutions Architect
Clemenger BBDO, Omnicom
Managed four direct reports, mentored developers and served as a
technical escalation point across web, cloud and integration work.
Jun 2020 – Mar 2025
Solutions Architect / Senior Full Stack Engineer
CHEP Network, Omnicom
Designed and led enterprise web, ecommerce, customer data and
integration work while contributing across the stack.
Oct 2018 – Jun 2020

the University of Melbourne, from requirements through release.
Nov 2014 – Oct 2018
Digital Developer / Web Designer
X Marketing; Charles Elena Design
Designed and built websites, campaign assets and other digital
work from client brief through launch.
Capabilities
Most of my recent work sits across these four areas.
Architecture & planning
Solution and platform architecture, technical discovery, estimation
and implementation planning. I document assumptions, trade-offs and
risks so teams can make informed decisions.
People & standards
Line management, mentoring, code and architecture review,
engineering standards, release planning and technical escalation.
Cloud, data & integration
AWS and Azure architecture, Terraform, serverless applications,
REST APIs and microservices. Python data orchestration with Apache
Airflow and GCP Cloud Composer.
Software & applied AI
Hands-on with Python, TypeScript, Node.js, Java and Spring Boot,
React and PHP. Recent AI work includes RAG, AWS Bedrock, LangChain,
LangGraph, LiteLLM and Langflow.
Writing
Notes from the work.
I write about developer accountability, knowledge formats for
enterprise AI and whether the investment stacks up.
